Once again we celebrated the life and heroic death of Fr. Stanley Rother at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche. This year marked the 33rd anniversary of his death. The mass was celebrated by Archbishop Coakley and he had wonderful news to tell! During his homily, he presented the finished book, the “Positio”, written in defense of Fr. Rother’s cause. He also read the letter he wrote stating why Fr. Rother should be declared a martyr that will be presented to the congregation for the causes of saints at the Vatican. This was a beautiful letter! He will present the letter and Positio September 3, 2014 at the Vatican! Continue to pray for the cause! It was a beautiful mass and so special to see familiar faces once again! It was a very moving experience to witness this book being raised by the Archbishop and hearing his letter. What an amazing experience to be a part of the Oklahoma Catholic Women’s Conference! It was a beautiful day meeting so many women of faith and sharing Fr. Rother’s story with all of you! Thank you for your kind words and response to the song! And a special and sincere thank you for supporting the Rother Guild by purchasing The Shepherd Cannot Run album! Thank you also to Michelle Schaefer (pictured with me) and all the other wonderful conference board members for giving me this opportunity to speak/sing! Please keep praying for the cause!

January 12, 2014. The Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa hosted the most recent Fr. Stanley Rother Guild Mass. I can’t describe the awe and beauty of the cathedral – such a blessing to be there! It’s absolutely breathtaking! This was our first Guild mass in the Tulsa diocese with Bishop Edward Slattery. Thank you to all who came and celebrated with us. We look forward to coming again soon. Pray for the cause!!
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Walters, OK

Jamie was the featured music guest at the recent ACCW meeting held at St. Patrick’s Church in Walters , OK. Jamie’s program intertwined her music and the life of Fr. Stanley Rother, along with the singing of her song written in honor of Fr. Rother, “The Shepherd Cannot Run”. It was a wonderful day of fellowship and fantastic food prepared by the women of this council district. A big and heartfelt “Thank You!” for all the prayers and support for Fr. Rother’s cause.
